What is MotorCitySoccer.com's policy on returns and exchanges?

All the products we sell are selected by our expert staff, thus we truly believe you will be pleased with the products and services we provide. We understand, however, that occasionally you may have to return something to us for a variety of reasons and to make it easier we have a no-hassle return and exchange policy.

If the item you receive is not right, whatever the reason, return it to us within 30 days and we will promptly refund your money or exchange it for something else. For a full refund or exchange, the item must be returned in its original condition and if sold as a set (i.e. warm-up pant and jacket) it must be returned as a set. All items returned must be shipped in a shipping box not product box. Shoes or other items shipped in the product box with a shipping label stuck to it will not be accepted or returned. Almost all items that have been worn outside (especially shoes) will show signs of wear and will no longer be in original condition, thus it is important to try everything on indoors or we cannot accept or process your return. If we sent you the wrong item in error, we will, of course, pay the shipping costs. We ship all regular priced non sale items back to you for FREE (Priority Mail or ground service) in appreciation of your business with us. There will be a return shipping charge for items you purchased on sale.

Is there a special return policy for shoes?

1. Shoes not worn on proper playing surfaces ( i.e. Firm ground on natural grass/ turf shoes on field turf/ soft ground on wet, soft natural surfaces) will not be returned.
2. Unworn shoes may be exchanged within 30 days of purchase.
3. Worn shoes cannot be exchanged except for manufacturing defects. We take great care in the fitting of your soccer shoes, taking into consideration the type of leather, and how much it will stretch. The final fit of the shoe is the customer’s responsibility. * if you choose to buy your shoes smaller or larger than we recommend, they may not be returned.
4. A MotorCitySoccer receipt must accompany all exchanges.
5. Sale shoes cannot be returned.
6. There is no manufacturer warranty on toe wear. Toe wear is the result of abrasion from the playing surface. Some shoe styles are more durable than others in the toe box area.
7. Only properly cared for shoes will be considered for exchange. This would include: cleaning and polishing, wearing on proper surface. Improper care of leather causes stiffness and rotting, which leads to splitting and separation from the outsole. This is defined as abuse by the manufacturer, and is not warrantied. All manufacturers discourage the use of mink oil on soccer shoes. There are several soccer-specific leather foods available to choose from.
8. Tongues that have torn or have seperated from a shoe are not defective and should be taken to a shoe repair shop to be repaired.
9. The elastic strap on the tongue is a tongue trainer. The trainer is there to help the tongue stay down during the break in period of the shoe. There is no manufacturer warranty on tongue trainers. Trainers that become detatched or torn should be cut off or taken to a shoe repair shop to be repaired.
10. Sole wear is the determining factor in deciding whether a shoe is “worn out.” A hard ground training shoe may “wear out” in a short period of time due to prolonged playing activity on rough, hard surfaces, while a cleated shoe used for match play may have a longer life.
11. The manufacturer will make the final decision on any shoe warranty. At their option, they may repair a shoe in lieu of replacement.

Is there a special return policy for gloves?

1. Unworn goalkeeper gloves in their original package may be exchanged within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
2. A MotorCitySoccer receipt must accompany all exchanges.
3. Sale gloves cannot be returned.
4. Worn gloves cannot be exchanged except for reasons of manufacturing defect. We take great care in the fitting of your goalie gloves. If you choose to buy your gloves smaller or larger than we recommend, they may not be returned.
5. There is no manufacturer warranty on palm wear. Palm wear is the result of abrasion from the playing surface. Some gloves styles are more durable than others in the palm area. Foam rubber materials give goalie gloves extremely excellent grip in wet and dry conditions of a match. However, the foam rubber is subject to abrasion in use. Neither the manufacturer nor MotorCitySoccer offers any guarantee as to the durability of your gloves. Indoor surfaces tend to be much more abrasive and wear the palms of gloves more quickly.
6. Protect your gloves from direct ultraviolet rays of the sun and also by keeping them aired out and dry after a match. If you are unsure of the proper care for your gloves, please ask any one of MotorCitySoccer sales staff.
7. Stitching that has separated and is not defective should be taken to a shoe repair shop.
8. The Manufacturer will make the final decision on any glove warranty.

Where do I send Returns?

Please put a copy of your receipt and ship your return package with a tracking number to:

Please understand that we cannot accept COD's or packages marked "Bill Recipient" and please keep the receipt or tracking number of your returned package in the event it is delayed or lost in transit. All refunds will be for merchandise only, we cannot refund shipping costs unless the item was sent in error.

There are no returns allowed on customized items.

What if I receive the wrong item?
